This is our first water based cleanup of the 2025 season- in kayaks, canoes & paddleboards.
*Meet at the Marina - launch fees are waived when our group does cleanups! (nice huh?)
*Bring your kayak, canoe or paddleboard or use one free of charge from the marina - again free when we do group cleanups! (Get there early as it is first come firsts served and boats are limited.)
Deep River flows into this lake and brings a lot of roadside trash with it - that's where we come to the rescue and clean her up!
This is also a very beautiful lake and river to paddle so it's very enjoyable as we get things done along with some fun "Trash Talkin" with our "Trashy friends"
*Bags, gloves and grabbers are provided. Strainers with a handle come in very handy for getting those little pieces of Styrofoam that take so much time to cleanup so please feel free to bring your own.
**Please arrive early enough to get yourself and your qear together. If bringing a blow up paddleboard, please have it prepared and ready to leave with the group. We leave the launch 9:00 sharp and you will need to paddle out with the group to our cleanup location.
*Wearing a PFD (life jacket) is mandatory.
