From July 7 to 11th, Urko is embarking on a five-day, 220km journey along the Grand Union Canal—connecting London to Birmingham on foot.

Why? To shine a spotlight on the mental health challenges faced by technicians and backstage professionals in the live entertainment industry.

These unsung heroes make every show and tour possible, often while silently struggling with their well-being.

It’s time we step up for those who keep the show running from behind the scenes.

Let’s walk together—whether in spirit or support—to ensure no one in our industry feels alone.

The Challenge: 220 Kilometres in 5 Stages
🚩 Day 1 – July 7: Entec Sound & Light → Hemel Hempstead (43 km)
🚩 Day 2 – July 8: Hemel Hempstead → Bletchley (47 km)
🚩 Day 3 – July 9: Bletchley → Weedon Bec (43 km)
🚩 Day 4 – July 10: Weedon Bec → Warwick (46 km)
🏁 Day 5 – July 11: Warwick → Black Sabbath Bridge, Birmingham (41 km)
