Rooted in Japanese textile tradition, Sashiko uses simple running stitches to reinforce, repair, and decorate worn fabrics—giving them new life while celebrating their history.

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned stitcher, this relaxed and supportive session will guide you through the basics of Sashiko, from selecting fabric and thread to planning and stitching your own visible mends. We’ll explore simple geometric patterns and talk about how mending can help reduce textile waste while reconnecting us with the things we wear.
