Family Bushcraft Essentials Day Workshop

Discover and practice essential survival skills with your family in a beautiful 45 acre Hertfordshire ancient woodland.
Experience and learn together how to provide for your immediate needs and exist in harmony with your natural surroundings.

This day course is especially for family groups or children accompanied by a parent/guardian. For all family members, no minimum age,

You’ll get lots of practical hands on experience with fire lighting and the opportunity to build a natural shelter within a beautiful mixed broadleaf and coniferous woodland.
You will be shown how to source drinking water and how to make it safe, as well as learning about the plants, trees and animals around you as you gather materials for your fire and shelter.

- Fire lighting from spark
- Selection of tinder, kindling and main fuel

- Natural Shelter
- Water Sourcing, filtration and purification methods.
