Field Observing Event - Lunar Eclipse at Reculver
Your host for this event is member @Michaela Heath.

There will be a total lunar eclipse on Sunday 7th September. Moonrise approx at 7.33pm just in time for us to see this lunar eclipse from the UK (actual totality approx 7.11pm when the moon is below the horizon) so we will see a blood moon rise, appearing much darker than usual. The moon will gradually move out of the Earths umbra and penumbra until 9.55pm.
We will meet in Reculver Towers car park, if you would like to attend to observe this event please arrive by 7pm.
Bring binoculars or telescopes (if you have them). See you there! 😊
