Grant Lawrence and Friends Desolation Sound tour 2025: CORTES ISLAND

Join author, broadcaster, raconteur, and local historian Grant Lawrence for a very special evening of stories and songs at the Gorge Hall on beautiful Cortes Island at the gateway to Desolation Sound.

This is a one-night-only event, with Grant sharing stories from his bestselling books ("Adventures in Solitude", "Return to Solitude"), and podcasts ("Handy Candy", "Hermit of Desolation Sound".)
Between stories, songs will be performed by special musical guests Jay Malinowski (from Bedouin Soundclash), acclaimed fiddler and step-dancer Stephanie Cadman, and Grant's wife, the award-winning Jill Barber.

Tickets are limited! Doors will open at 6:30pm, showtime is 7pm - 9pm. All ages.
