Riverfly Survey, Mansel Lacy

Join Herefordshire Wildlife Trust in undertaking a riverfly survey at Mansel Lacy. One of our Riverfly Monitors will collect a sample of aquatic invertebrates from the Yazor Brook and explain how to identify 8 groups of riverfly. This data feeds into the Riverfly Partnership and the Environment Agency’s knowledge of our local rivers and their health, whilst also being an important tool to detect pollution incidents. Family friendly.
