Have you ever felt the spark of something powerful within you, waiting to be fanned into flame? Have you sensed there's creative fire, healing gifts, or bold truth-speaking buried beneath years of playing it safe and staying small?
This evening is for you if you're ready to tend your inner flame - that sacred fire of inspiration, transformation, and fierce creativity that perhaps you've let dwindle to embers. It's for women who know they have forge-work to do on themselves, who are ready to hammer out a new shape for their lives.
Brigid calls to us from the ancient Celtic lands as the triple goddess of fire - keeper of the forge, guardian of the healing flame, and patron of poets and seers. On Imbolc, the festival of early spring, our ancestors honoured her as the one who brings light back after winter's darkness, who kindles inspiration when creativity has gone cold.
In a world that often demands we dim our light to make others comfortable, that asks us to be practical rather than inspired, that treats creativity as a luxury rather than a necessity, Brigid offers us something revolutionary - permission to burn bright. She reminds us that we are not meant to be lukewarm, that our gifts need tending like any sacred fire, and that transformation requires heat.
Through her triple flame, we explore:
Rekindling creative fire that's been neglected or dismissed.
The forge-work of transformation - hammering ourselves into new shapes
Healing as an act of sacred fire, burning away what no longer serves
Speaking our truth with the clarity of flame
Tending to what matters instead of letting our energy scatter
The difference between burning out and burning bright
Our evening will move through the three aspects of Brigid's fire - from the forge of transformation, through the healing flame, to the illuminating light of inspiration and truth.
Brigid's Sacred Stories - We'll gather around her mythology, discovering how this beloved Celtic goddess survived Christianity's arrival by becoming Saint Brigid, her power too great to be extinguished. Her story teaches us about the resilience of sacred feminine fire and how some flames refuse to be put out.
Forge Meditation - Through guided visualisation, we'll enter Brigid's forge and discover what in our lives needs to be melted down and reforged. Sometimes we need to return to the fire to be reshaped, and Brigid teaches us this isn't destruction but transformation.
Brigid's Cross Crafting - We'll create traditional Brigid's crosses from rushes or wheat, an ancient protective symbol woven at Imbolc. As our hands work, we'll consider what we're protecting - our creativity, our gifts, our precious spark - and what we're keeping outside the threshold.
Poetry Circle - Honouring Brigid as patron of poets, we'll explore how words can kindle flame in ourselves and others. Whether reading poems that move you or speaking your own truth, we'll practice letting our voices carry fire.
Healing Flame Practice - We'll work with the healing aspect of Brigid's fire, discovering how warmth and light can burn away old wounds, illuminate what needs attention, and seal what's been tender.
Feast by Firelight - Sharing warm, nourishing food that honours the Celtic traditions of Brigid's festival, we'll practice the art of tending our own fire before we attempt to warm others.
Closing Flame Ceremony - Each woman will light a candle from our central flame to carry Brigid's fire home, making commitments to what we'll kindle and tend in our own lives.
This circle calls to women who've been playing small, dimming their light, or letting their creative fire go cold. Maybe you've been told you're "too much" - too passionate, too intense, too bright - and you've learned to bank your flames to avoid making others uncomfortable.
Perhaps you're someone whose creative gifts have been dismissed as impractical, whose healing abilities have been questioned, whose truth-speaking has been labelled as aggressive. You might be in a season where everything feels cold and dark, and you're desperate to remember how to generate your own warmth and light.
Or maybe you're simply tired of being lukewarm, of living a life that's safe but uninspired. You sense there's forge-work to be done, that you need to be melted down and reshaped, hammered into something truer to your essential nature.
If you've ever stood before a fire and felt something ancient stir within you, if you know you have gifts that need tending and truth that needs speaking, Brigid is calling you to her flames.
Over my 25 years of body work, I've witnessed how we physically hold the patterns of diminishing ourselves. The tight throat that stops us from speaking the truth. The collapsed chest that protects a tender heart. The shallow breathing that keeps us from fully inhabiting our power. These aren't just metaphors - they're real patterns locked into the nervous system.
My work with primitive reflex integration taught me that our bodies remember how to shine before the world taught us to hide. There's a natural radiance that emerges when the nervous system feels safe enough to stop protecting and start expressing. I've watched women's voices grow stronger, their presence expand, their creative energy return, simply by releasing the old patterns that kept them small.
Working with Brigid's archetype has shown me that we all have forge-work to do on ourselves. Sometimes we need to return to the fire - not to be destroyed, but to be transformed into something truer. The heat isn't punishment; it's the catalyst for becoming who we're meant to be. In our Goddess Circles, I create the container where women can remember their own sacred flame and learn to tend it without apology.

Are you ready to answer Brigid's call to the fire?
Like many women on this path, my journey has been one of transformation—from struggle to empowerment, from anxiety to inner peace. For over 25 years, I've dedicated myself to understanding how our bodies hold both our deepest tensions and their own innate wisdom for healing.
My path began with traditional yoga teaching, but something always felt incomplete. Despite my training, I noticed my own body stubbornly holding tension, particularly around my breath and diaphragm. It wasn't until a profound experience with Primitive Reflex integration that I discovered what was missing.
This revelation transformed not only my personal experience of anxiety but also my entire approach to helping women. I discovered that true healing isn't about managing symptoms but about helping the body remember its natural state of calm—much like the goddesses remember their divine nature throughout their mythic journeys.
What makes my approach to the Goddess Circles unique is the integration of ancient wisdom with embodied understanding—honouring both the archetypal and the physical aspects of feminine healing. I believe that when we work with these powerful goddess archetypes, we not only connect with their stories but also reconnect with our own true essence.
Today, I help women worldwide break free from limiting patterns so they can embrace their full potential with confidence and joy. These Goddess Circles extend beyond storytelling to a profound remembering—guiding each woman back to the divine feminine wisdom that has always lived within her.
I invite you to join me on this journey of transformation, where the ancient goddesses become mirrors for our modern lives, and where mythology becomes a pathway to remembering your own sacred nature.
This is the Fourth in a series of Goddess Circles. Future dates will explore other powerful feminine archetypes, including: Lakshmi, Isis, Mary Magdalene, Pele, White Buffalo Woman and more
