1st Annual Picnic Paddle at Philpott Lake

Bring your kayak, canoe or whatever your paddling vessel of choice is and meet us at Twin Ridge Recreation Area's marina at Philpott Lake for a group paddle out to Deer Island for a picnic!

This is a great opportunity to make new friends and meet other outdoor enthusiasts in our community! Everyone is welcome to come and go at their own pace. There is no strict end time.

Prepare to be unloaded and ready to launch at 1:30. Life jackets required. Bring a picnic lunch. Sunscreen, sun glasses and hat also recommended. If planning to fish, make sure you have a current license.
