Scott's Donor Drive

Scott Hetsko, Shawn's Heroes For Life, the American Red Cross of Western New York and Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network are partnering to host a blood and donor enrollment drive to help save others through the gift of blood and organ donation.

The event honors U.S. Army Scout and donor hero Shawn McMullen and Scott Hetsko who received Shawn's gift of life through a heart transplant.

The Red Cross recommends those wanting to donate blood make an appointment time for the day of the event by visiting the RedCrossBlood.org and type "shawnsheroes" in the 'Find a Blood Drive' search bar.

Finger Lakes Donor Recovery Network staff and volunteers will be on hand to share information about organ and tissue donation and help register new donors.
