Ever thought about trying stand-up comedy but weren’t sure where to start? This free sampler class is your chance to dip your toe into the world of comedy, meet your instructor, and see what it’s like to step up to the mic.

Led by comedian and producer Mu Cuzzo, this one-hour session will give you a taste of what our Intro to Stand-Up Comedy: From First Joke to Final Showcase course is all about. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how comics turn ideas into punchlines, try a few short writing and performance exercises, and learn what to expect if you continue on to the full course this fall.

No experience is required—just bring your sense of humor and a willingness to take risks. Whether you’re curious about performing, looking to boost your confidence, or just want to try something new, this sampler is the perfect first step.
