Fuelling Your Active Child (parent seminar & athlete cooking workshop)

PARENT EDUCATION SEMINAR: ‘Fuelling Your Active Child’ (60 mins - Tuesday 8th July 4pm)

These sessions will be run by the AB Performance Nutrition team out of PEAQs Yoga Studio - sessions run by Annabelle Buttery(Accredited Sports Nutritionist) & Jacqui Beal(Accredited Sports Dietitian)

This sports nutrition seminar will provide parents with the knowledge and tools they need to support their active teens to perform at their best, outside and inside the classroom!

A range of topics will be covered such as; the importance of fuelling your active child, understanding the basic nutrition foundations for health & performance, fuelling your child's trainings & games, healthy practical lunchbox ideas, tips for ‘fussy eaters’ and more!

Parents will leave this session feeling more confident with how they can support their active child's training demands, along with their growth and development, ultimately setting their teen up for future success!

ATHLETE COOKING LUNCH WORKSHOP: ‘Build a Healthy Performance Lunch’ (60 mins - Wednesday 9th July at 12:45pm) - LUNCH PROVIDED

A 60 minute interactive workshop where your child will learn the basic nutrition foundations for health & performance, they will then put these principles into practice! Your child will build a healthy performance lunch with food, which they then get to eat at the end of the session.
