LATIN NIGHTS at Continuum-WITH YAYA

Come check out the BEST LATIN DANCE spot in Hendersonville at Continuum Art for a fun night of primarily salsa & bachata with some merengue, cumbia, and cha-cha. A free lesson will be offered in the back room, followed by social dancing on the huge, beautiful wood floors in the main room with an incredible DJ on the stage. Large event space with plenty of room for social distancing and ceiling and floor fans circulating throughout the night for great airflow as the vintage garage doors and windows stay open during warmer temperatures.

Yaya is a passionate dancer, instructor, and entertainer with over a decade of experience! She specialize in Bachata sensual, traditional/Dominican, and fusion.

Yaya has been teaching at dance festivals and events worldwide — from Spain, France, and Switzerland to the Canada , Israel, and beyond.

With a background in ballet, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, and yoga, Yaya brings more than just dance steps to her classes, she blends technique, musicality, and body awareness to help dancers unlock their full potential. Whether it’s footwork, shines, lady styling, partner work, body movement, or stretching , she creates high-energy, interactive sessions that leave students feeling empowered and connected to the music.

Her classes are a mix of precision and play — we dive into the nuances of musicality and technique while keeping the vibe fun and dynamic. She loves bringing the energy to social dancing and night parties, making sure everyone feels welcome and has a blast on the dance floor!

(This event will begin immediately after Swing night.)

9:00-10:00pm SALSA Lesson by YAYA & TOLA (back room)

10:00pm-2:00am Social Dancing with DJ MAPACHE

$15 (cash, card, Venmo, PayPal, and CashApp accepted) on the day of the event

$25 for both events (swing and Latin)

No partner or rhythm is needed and dress is casual!

Bring your own beer/wine. Liquor and other beverages above 16% alcohol content are strictly prohibited. ALL BEVERAGES MUST BE BROUGHT INTO THE VENUE IN A COOLER OR CONCEALED AND FOR CONSUMPTION, BEVERAGES MUST BE POURED INTO PLASTIC CUPS. NOTE CHANGE IN POLICY: $10 for every 12 beers or 1 bottle of wine.

Masks are encouraged but, not required.
