About the event

Hendersonville Street Dance
Bring a chair and the whole family to enjoy an evening of square dancing and live music by Asheville Junction Band from 7 pm-9 pm. The audience seating area opens after 6 pm. Admission is free. Experience a Hendersonville tradition that is over 100 years old! The Street Dance started in 1918 when residents of Hendersonville took to the street to welcome home soldiers from World War I. Alcoholic beverages, backpacks, or coolers are prohibited.
