Mark your calendars for May 17th, 10 AM – 1 PM — the City of Hemet Public Works Department is hosting its FIRST-EVER OPEN HOUSE, and you're not going to want to miss it!

Come see what keeps Hemet running! This is your chance to go behind the scenes, meet the amazing Public Works team, explore real equipment, and get answers to all your questions.

✨ Event Highlights:
🚛 CR&R’s Mini Trash Truck on display
🎨 Kids’ Coloring Contest with prizes and recognition at a City Council meeting
🎯 Fun games for kids and adults
🍔 Delicious food for purchases provided by the Rotary Club of Hemet
🗑️ FREE Recycle Bins and ♻️ Bags of Compost giveaway (while supplies last!)
🎁 Raffle prizes, including a custom-made street sign!

We’re also giving back to our community!
We're raising awareness about food insecurity in our valley with a Food Drive benefiting the Valley Community Pantry.
📦 Bring non-perishable food items — for each item donated, you'll receive a raffle ticket to win great prizes!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This is a family-friendly event celebrating Public Works Week, and we can’t wait to show you all the incredible work our team does to serve the City of Hemet.
