Timo Lassyn ja Niko Kumpuvaaran akustinen duo yhdistää harvoin kuultavan soitinyhdistelmän tuoden esiin saksofonin ja harmonikan rikkaat sointivärit. Duon soitossa kuuluvat vaikutteet jazzista sekä maailmanmusiikista kamarimusiikillisella herkkyydellä ilmaistuna. Kaksikko yhdistää ohjelmistoonsa rohkeasti omien sävellystensä lisäksi tätä erikoisempaa soitinyhdistelmää palvelevaa musiikkia.

The acoustic duo of Timo Lassy and Niko Kumpuvaara combines a rarely heard combination of instruments, bringing out the rich timbres of the saxophone and accordion. The duo's playing includes influences from jazz and world music expressed with a chamber music sensibility. In addition to their own compositions, the duo boldly combines music that serves this more special combination of instruments into their repertoire.

The concert is open for all ages.
