Tango salón is one of the most traditional styles of Argentine tango, where connection, musicality, and elegance are essential. In this series of classes, we’ll explore the fundamental elements of tango salón: the embrace and partner connection, walking, musicality, and navigation on the dance floor. These essential skills will take your tango to the next level and help you fully enjoy social dancing with confidence and comfort.
In addition to working on technique for both leaders and followers, we will also dive into the rich cultural background that makes tango much more than just a dance. These classes are open to all levels, and no partner is needed. You’re welcome to join a single class, but we encourage regular attendance to build a strong foundation, as each session builds upon the previous ones.

Anna Häkli (FI) and Mauricio Rodriguez (AR) are tango dancers, teachers, and passionate milongueros. They trained extensively with renowned maestros in Buenos Aires, where they lived for several years and specialized in the tango salón style. Their dancing is rooted in tradition, musicality, and connection — the essence of social tango. Today, they divide their time between Buenos Aires and Helsinki, continuing their studies and sharing their knowledge through classes, performances, and community events.
