SLC WORKSHOP: Contact improvisation & creative movement with Marie da Silva (for professionals dancers)
✨ We’re thrilled to welcome dancer and choreographer Marie da Silva (GER) to Helsinki! ✨
Marie, one of the dancers in Susanna Leinonens upcoming world premiere Pain Killer (8th October, Tanssin talo), will lead a workshop sharing her distinctive, energetic, and inspiring movement language.
The workshop focuses on improvisation, contact, and choreographic work.
“We’ll begin with a grounding warm-up to awaken the body, followed by guided improvisation to explore my personal movement dynamics. We’ll move into contact improvisation, tuning into weight, touch, and trust between bodies and finally transition into choreographic work, building phrases together and diving into deeper artistic expression. “ –Marie da Silva
