Ahínama! 🔥 Ensimmäinen Helsingin Intensiivinen Kuuban viikonloppu tulee Silvio Leroyn saattelemana tuomaan hikisen ja aurinkoisen Havannan fiiliksen meille keskelle syksyn sateita. Luvassa jälleen kohtaamisia, oppia, naurua, aivoille purtavaa, musiikkia ja kulttuuria meille kaikille kuubalaisten tanssien rakastajille!
Silvio on helposti lähestyttävä, erittäin pidetty sydämellinen opettaja, joka asuu nykyisin Barcelonassa ja opettaa useassa koulussa, mm. Farray’s Centerissa. Silvio kiertää paljon kansainvälisillä Salsafestareilla opettamassa ja hänen vahvuutensa on hänen syvä intohimo afrokuubalaiseen kulttuuriin ja historiaan jota hän itsekin omassa elämässään toteuttaa. Hänen päälajit ovat Son ja eri rumbat, Yambú, Guaguancó ja Columbia.
Kurssilla pääset haastamaan itseäsi, syventämään tietoja ja taitojasi kuubalaisissa tansseissa, sekä oppimaan uutta tai kertaamaan jo -opittua. Kaikille on varmasti luvassa jotain mistä ammentaa! Ota mukaan huivi rumba osuuksia varten. Salilta löytyy myös huiveja, jos unohdat ottaa, ei siis hätää 🙏🏽

¡Ahinama! And let's goooo! Silvio Leroy is coming to teach in Helsinki for the first time in October, and we'll be enjoying a weekend full of sunshine, sweat, and authentic Havana vibes at excellent workshops and a tropical latin party.
During the weekend, we'll dive into the rich and colourful Cuban dance culture, by learning and gaining a deeper understanding of Son, Columbia, Cuaguancó and Afro-Cuban dances. We'll be connected to our body, to each other, and to the vibrant music and history of these beautiful dances. The workshops offer something for everyone!
Silvio is an approachable and compassionate Cuban teacher, who is beloved all over Europe. He currently lives in Barcelona where he teaches at Farray's Dance Center etc., but is known for teaching at the biggest Salsa Festivals across Europe. Silvio is not only an exceptional dancer, but also an inspirational teacher. His presence and way of seeing every student is just beyond words, and I'm welcoming you all to feel it personally!
On Saturday October 4th, Pura Timba organizes a beautiful party where you'll be seeing Silvio and his animations. Let's make the party hotter than ever together, and make him shout aguaaaa!!
