What is the event about & Who is it for?
EO STEM Jam is a vibrant interactive science and math festival designed for children aged 6-10 (Finnish school grades Eskari to 4th) and their families. Now in its fourth successful year our mission is to transform learning into a thrilling adventure. We believe that the best way to spark a child's curiosity in STEM is to make it a game not a lesson. In our unique stress-free environment children discover the power of their own minds see the practical application of mathematics and build confidence. This is a true family event where parents can share in the joy of discovery or relax in our dedicated lounge while the kids explore.
Unique Highlights & Attractions
The heart of EO STEM Jam is our unique "Earn & Spend" gameplay loop. Children first visit the "Olimpia Bank" where they solve fun math puzzles to earn points. Then they spend these hard-earned points on a huge array of hands-on attractions! They can build and test their own Walking Robot fire a Medieval Ballista construct a powerful Gauss Rifle (Magnetic Accelerator) experiment with a Maglev Train and explore many other interactive STEM stations. For parents we offer a separate program with interesting lectures workshops and a coffee lounge making it a fulfilling experience for everyone.
