Get ready for the first-ever solo bachata battle in the Nordics— brought to you by Underground XXL in collaboration with the Bachata Freestyle Movement.

Everyone! Whether you're an amateur, a professional-level bachata dancer or teacher, this open-level, rookie-friendly competition is your chance to shine solo and show the community what you’ve got!

No battle experience needed — just bring your passion!
Cypher Qualifier Round
We start with a rookie-friendly freestyle cypher:
Dance in circles, take turns showing your moves
DJ keeps the energy high for 30–45 mins
Judges walk around and score dancers
The top 4 scorers move on to the main battle during the night socials!
1 vs 1 Battles – Semi-Finals & Final
Top 4 dancers go head-to-head
Alternating rounds with different music
Judges vote after each battle
Winner becomes the first Bachata Battle Champion in the Nordics!

Qualification will be on Saturday afternoon. Semi-final and final will be during the Bachata Underground XXL party on saturday night.

Battle Participation Fee: €15
You will be required to buy at least the saturday night entrance fee (25€) one week before if you don't plan to get the party pass or full pass in order to confirm your participation.
