Get to know the candidates for Helena Mayor and City Commission at a "Speed Date Your Candidates" event to be held on Thursday, August 7, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Best Western Great Northern Hotel, 835 Great Northern Boulevard, Helena, Montana. Anyone interested in the September 9th election is encouraged to attend.

Nine of the ten candidates running in the September 9th municipal primary election have confirmed their participation in this event.
Mayoral candidates participating are Emily Dean, Sonda Gaub, Braxton Hudson, Chris Riccardo, and Andy Shirtliff.
City Commission candidates are Brenton Craggs, Haley McKnight, Melinda Reed, and Ben Rigby. There are two openings on the Helena City Commission. City commission candidate Shawn White Wolf is unable to attend.
This event is co-sponsored by the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters of the Helena Area, which are local nonprofit, nonpartisan organizations.
This event is entirely nonpartisan and election campaigning will not be permitted.
