Bear Days of the Appalachia
Gerald Hodge of Appalachia Georgia Friends of the Bears has dedicated his life to defending black bears in the southeast. While these creatures are apex predators, we pose a threat to them as well.

Visit Gerald at Brasstown Bald to learn how you can protect yourself from a bear, bear-proof your house or campsite, and be a friend to our North Georgia black bears. You can also visit their website.
