Open Day @ Handcross Petanque Club

Handcross Petanque Club are opening up the terrain for everybody to come and try our wonderful game.

Petanque, or French Boules, is on the surface, a simple game normally played in teams of two or three. The winning team are the ones with the closest boule to the jack (or Coche as it's known) and they score a point for each boule closer than the opponents closest.

The game is a great leveller. Young and old, male and female all play side by side. So all are welcome to this event.

Refreshments will be provided and there's a playground next door to entertain the younger kids while you throw a few boules around.

So pop in anytime between 10 & 12:30 and give the game a try.
