In this two-hour workshop, we will learn how to paint the Light, a critical skill for any artist who is attracted to paint life forms, be it flower, animal, or people. Being able to paint the Light will free you from painting every single detail, but you can paint ANYTHING in loose and captivating ways. We will have a series of exercises and you will paint several different subjects, capturing the light and essence of life.
If you want to learn wonderful watercolor techniques in a relaxing and encouraging environment, then this class is for you. Some experience with watercolor preferred to take this workshop.

Dr. Wei is known for her soft yet captivating watercolor art, and her teaching is raved by students for being fun, engaging, and inspiring. She has taught art to thousands of diverse people in the U.S. and internationally. She has lived on a mountain farm in Hayesville since 2021.
