Our mission is to rescue and renovate older sewing machines but now we have an excess taking up valuable storage space! So we decided to dedicate a special day to demonstrate to you why these wonderful machines deserve your love and why they are superior to most new machines.
Mike will be selling a range of sewing machines priced from $99 to $595 and date from the 1950s to the ‘90s. All machines are working and any over $185 include service warranty. We encourage all customers to test before buying.
If you prefer human powered machines, Cyndy has a number of treadle and hand crank powered machines on offer dating from 1900 to 1960. Cyndy also has new hand crank sets that can be fitted to many mid 20th century sewing machines.
Demonstrations will include:
~ Basic care and trouble shooting common sewing machine issues
~ Using vintage and new attachments
~ Matching the right machine for your needs & budget
~ Treadle and hand crank sewing
~ The importance of using correct bobbins for your machine
