Well, we can now let you into a little secret.....
We are moving forward as always and we are planning to launch our Sunday Afternoon Sessions open mic 'drop in' sessions here at Caffinaafi so pop along. FREE TO ATTEND AND JOIN IN.
This is open to all of the community and not just Veterans and family members.
PA System and equipment set up for use.
These exciting Music and Spoken word afternoons will be held starting from the August Bank Holiday weekend. That being Sunday 24th August.
What time? Well, the Caffi will be open and few few to drop in between 2 & 7pm for musicians and poets to perform. If you don't fancy performing or having a go, that's cool too. So if you simply want to come and chill or watch / take part then please do.
Everyone is welcome, on the proviso that you are supportive to beginners who want to perform / share your work in a safe, supportive and nurturing environment.
NO SHOW OFFS PLEASE. WE WANT EVERYONE TO FEEL WELCOME AND NOT INTIMIDATED.
Whilst we welcome cover versions etc..,ideally we want people to perform their own work and to show the world what you can do in or lovely little space.
We are holding these events for people who are genuinely have a love for music and spoken word and to help people build their confidence.
Come meet new people and lets develop opportunities for the community together.
Under 18s at welcome if they are accompanied by an adult.
No alcohol.. this is a safe space for all.
Tea, coffee and cold drinks available by donation to support the running of the event.
