Dennis Lichtman - Mandolin Workshop

This workshop is supported by Progressive Acoustics (progressiveacoustics.org). Though not commonly considered a "jazz instrument," legendary musicians such as Tiny Moore, Jethro Burns, Johnny Gimble, and countless jug band players have proven that the mandolin can swing as hard as anything. In this workshop, we'll take a hands-on approach to techniques for developing a strong swing feel in both lead and rhythm playing, using common swing & hot jazz standards as a framework.
