Unfortunately it’s a rather upsetting post tonight.
Tuesday saw the passing of Tom Cliff.
Tom was a welsh international angler but more than that Tom was someone who was always so generous with his time,his advice and his flies.
He was always on hand for any advice to me whilst I was getting the pond off and running and for that I will be eternally grateful.
With all this in mind it’s the right thing to do and after speaking with Dylan Thomas-Daniels to hold a pairs competition down with us and raise as much money as possible for the family.
It will take place on Saturday July 5th
8am bacon roll and registration
9am kick off
The entry cost will be £25 per person
I will make sure everyone is fed and watered on the day.
Most important is this is to be a light hearted,fun day just like Tom’s character.
There are already some spaces taken but there are 18 spaces for names and remember it’s a pairs competition and there will be some unbelievable prizes up for grabs along with an incredible raffle on the day as there have already been some extremely generous donations for prizes.
There has already been a go fund me page set up in his memory and any donations will be passed on to the family too.
