North Pembrokeshire Trade and Tourism is delighted to announce that the magnificent Spanish ship, El Galeón Andalucía, will be visiting Fishguard Harbour on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st September.
The ship will be open to the public from 10:00am to 8:00pm each day, offering visitors a rare opportunity to step aboard and explore this stunning replica of a 16th-century Spanish galleon. This landmark visit follows more than 12 months of negotiations between NPTT and Vela Cuadra Producciones - to bring El Galeón Andalucía to Fishguard, and marks a major achievement for the town and the region.
Fishguard now proudly becomes only the third town in Wales ever to host this remarkable vessel.
We are thrilled to welcome El Galeón Andalucía to Fishguard, It will be a spectacular attraction for local people and visitors alike, and a wonderful way to celebrate our maritime heritage while strengthening our cultural ties with Spain.
The visit is expected to draw significant interest from across Wales and beyond, offering a unique experience for families, maritime enthusiasts, and tourists eager to explore history firsthand.
Online ticketing will be open from Monday morning, but tickets can also be bought on board too.
