A wine tasting evening with a difference!
Our fundraising kicks off this year with a brilliant wine tasting event sponsored by Portal, Dingwall and Norris Ltd.
Think you know your wines? Test your knowledge against a panel of mischievous, lying and cheating wine experts as they try to convince you that the wine in your glass is the wine they are describing! Join us for an entertaining evening of fun and laughter with the chance to taste (and drink!) 6 wines from across the globe, in a competitive atmosphere, without the pomp and ceremony of a traditional wine tasting event.

The rules for Call My Wine Bluff
People will book as a team or join a team on the night. Teams will sit at their own table and be provided with an answer sheet to complete and nibbles / bread to refresh the palate between the wines.
There will be six rounds, with tables competing against each other
Wines from around the world will be served from covered bottles, so the label can’t be seen.
A panel of three each give an amusing, informative and highly convincing description of the wine. Two of the panel are unashamedly lying through their teeth whilst the other is telling the truth.
The table teams decide which of the panel gave the correct description. Points for guessing the correct wine and bonus points for guessing the retail price will be awarded.
At the end of the game, the winning team will be rewarded with a bottle of something delicious and fizzy!
Wine Sales after the Event also support SJA
Wine can be purchased at the end of the event at a 5% discount from normal retail prices and for each bottle sold, an extra 5% will go towards the SJA to help raise funds for extras at the school.
