Havant Veterans Support Hub have partnered up with Havant and South downs College at New road Havant to present this Serving armed forces and veterans monthly drop-in for all those still serving veterans and there family members far and wide.
Also open to local blue light and NHS services especially to those looking to leave or nearing the end of there service. Lots of Civilian organisations on hand to help and advise.
There will be various service providers available to provide Advice and assistance on any subject to anyone still serving Veterans and there Family members.
We are inviting service providers such as Hants RBL Saafa Solent mind Age uk Havant borough Council Forces Employment Agency Hounds for heroes OP Courage nova fortitude etc The ABF RNBFT RNA RNRMC Rowans kitbags and berets Company of makers Community 1st HSDC Adult education SAW UK CITIZENS ADVICE SOLENT MIND local recruitment and employment advisors various legal advisors and many more local and national organisations assisting with welfare mental and physical health those providing social groups events and trips from within the Havant and PO postcode areas .
Combating isolation and Lonliness.
A One stop Armed forces family welfare shop, Get any and all advice under 1 roof run on a weekend day once a month So anyone still serving or working full time or those who can only get a few hrs at the weekend due to other reasons can seak assitance advice or just pop out for a brew stop with like minded people can do so.
This weekend Drop-in allows those who work full time or who may not have the time in the week to seek help with the various issues they may face during or after service.
We will provide brews and bisquits while you wait you can chat with other Service users make new like minded freinds all at the same time.
Ample free parking on campus 5 min walk from Havant bus and train stations Bedhampton Station. 5-10 mins from A3 and M27 corridors. Easy access very little foot or vehicle traffic
We will also run the battle bus out to various pick up and drop off points in the area ie walterlooville horndean Rowlands Castle Havant etc tbc.
