BishBashBosh's Pokemon Pop-Up Event!
Date & Time: August 9th 2025, 10am - 4pm
Location: Calamity Comics, White Lion Square, Hatfield.
Event Highlights:
Join in some Pokémon antics, meet some new friends, play, trade, get involved in our walking routes as well as our own bespoke Pokemon schenanigans. Get involved for as little as £3 per 1 boshin' activity (Bingo, Quiz, Battles, sketch-a-mon & training academy to learn the play the card game).
10am - 3:45pm: Boshin' Trading Card Shop
Stocked with the latest sets of Pokemon cards, plushies, packs, models and much much more.
10am - 3.15pm: Exclusive Bishbashboshin' Pokemon GO walking routes!
Join our bespoke walking routes for absolutely free, check out the surrounding area and catch a few Pokemon on the world famous App whilst searching for in person clues along the way! Prizes will be given away at the end of the day raffle for anyone who successfully completed the routes.
10am - 11am: Pokemon Card Trade extravaganza!!
FREE support, advice, useful tips and fake checks. Take part in trading your dupes with others to get those sought after cards, our team members will be on hand to overlook and support where needed. Bish will also be open to trading should you see anything in the loaded binders in the shop.
10am - 11am: Pokemon Encounter!
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for some in person wild Pokemon running around, have your camera at the ready and tag us on our socials with your best pictures & captions (Free Experience)!
11am - 11:30am: Pokémon Blackout Bingo (*Pay to Play - limited to 30 players)
Engage in a Pokémon themed version of Blackout Bingo with Pokemon prizes up for grabs (*Pay to Play - £3pp)!
11:45am - 12:30pm: Pokemon Quiz
Test your knowledge in one of our boshin' bespoke quizzes, made for all ages and challenging enough to see what sort of trainer you really are! Prizes to be won (*Pay to Play - limited to 40 players - £3pp)!
12:45pm - 1:30pm: Pokemon Card Trade extravaganza!!

1:30pm - 2pm: Pokemon Training Academy
Learn how to play the Pokemon card game and compete against fellow trainers. Our very own Professor Bungles will be giving a session to teach you how to play the card game, designed for newcomers and people who are wanting to gain experience (Free Experience).
2:15pm - 3.30pm: TCG Tournament
Battle others who have experience playing the card game and wanting to challenge other competitors and brush up on their gaming techniques. Prizes for winners will be given and a free Pokemon goodie bag to be claimed from calamity comics for each participant (*Pay to Play - £5)!
3:45pm - 4pm: Giveaway & Farewells
Wrap up the day with our raffle giveaway for all who participated in the Pokemon GO Walking routes to cap off the event on a high note!
