Balsam Bashing Weekly Work Party

Himalayan Balsam is a non-native plant that is spreading quite quickly along the river. It overshadows other plants and kills out our native plants.

Every week I am looking to organise a group of volunteers to help pull up the Himalayan Balsam. The first meeting point will be at Asda.

All you need is some gloves, trousers and ideally boots. I'll ensure the area is away from the river and in an easy place to get to.
