We open up the doors to the Castle from April to Oct. 2025. You want to join? In May the Castle is open Thursdays to Sundays (from 1.-4., 8.-11., 15.-18. and again from 29.-31.), as well as the Park. Due to an Event no Tours at the Castle from 23.-25.
The Tour is with a Guide and lasts approx. 1 Hour. Here you will be warmly welcomed and guided through the place's colorful story - in short order. You will see the charming Riddersal / Hall of Knights, hear about Christian V's Son, Christian Gyldenløve, about the widow who spent the entire fortune on Galla gowns, and about the modern Company that Gisselfeld is today. Max number per Tour: 25 persons. Price: DKK 150 adult / 65 child (5-12).
Afterwards, you can go exploring in the beautiful Orangery, which is rented out, or get your shoulders or hair down in the serene Castle Park (included in the ticket).
Note: The Tour at 11 and 12:30 PM will in Danish, while the Tour at 14 PM is in English. Takes place from April to October 2025. Only Ground Floor of the Castle.
Important: The meeting place is inside the Park by Peder Oxe-Hallen, also called Ridehuset - by the benches outside to the right of the door - where the Guide / Host will meet you approx. 10 min. before. It is the guest's own responsibilty to be on time. In case of cancellation by the Organiser, the full price is refunded to the guest.
