Parkinson’s Disease Talk - Lunch & Learn

Parkinson’s is a neurodegenerative disorder that affects predominately the dopamine-producing (“dopaminergic”) neurons in a specific area of the brain called substantia nigra. Although there is no known cause, symptoms generally develop slowly over years. The progression of symptoms is often a bit different from one person to another due to the diversity of the disease.

Come hear from Joanne McCole from Lifecare and learn about the symptoms, treatments, and important research being done in the field. Lifecare is providing the lunch, so you MUST sign up by Sept 2 so we have enough food. Call 978-456-4120
