Starrett Factory & Museum Tour

The L.S. Starrett Company, founded in 1880 in Athol, MA, manufactures more than 5,000 variations of precision tools, gages, measuring instruments and saw Blades for industrial, professional and consumer markets worldwide. Their tools are essential for the many products that are measured, cut, formed or assembled. They are used in a broad range of manufacturing facilities as an essential part of metalworking and in a wide variety of traditional and newer industries such as electronics, aerospace, energy and many others. Come for a free tour of the factory and the Starrett Museum. After, we will stop to eat at Asia Gourmet. Please bring cash for lunch. Please be aware this tour requires a lot of walking, and you will need to climb stairs. Solid-toed shoes are required, and you will be given safety glasses to wear. Call 978-456-4120.
