Benefit for Down Syndrome Awareness

To all of our pool friends and family. We are hosting a benefit pool tournament for Down Syndrome Awareness as most of our friends and family know our Daughter Skye was born with Down Syndrome but that’s okay because that makes her extra special. The tournament is going to take place between The Steel Pub, The Franco, The Dery Bar and The Athol Orange Eagles. Sign up time will be at 9am at the Steel and Start time will be around 10am. It is going to be the best 2/3 in 8 ball modified elimination and you don’t necessarily need to be an apa member but we are going to set the handicap limit to 11 so if you have never played apa you handicap would be set at a 3. We are going to have baskets as well as items to raffle off. We are asking everyone who is going to participate in the tournament to wear either yellow or blue because those are the colors for Down Syndrome. The amount of teams is going to be cut off at 50 teams but if you don’t make
The cut off you will be added to a list and will be contacted in order if a team or teams drop out or can’t make it. The sign ups for the benefit are going to stop 2 weeks prior to the tournament to give me time to get the brackets set up. All the proceeds are going to be going towards The Down Syndrome Congress of Massachusetts. Flyers are going to be made within the next week or two hopefully and put up at the surrounding bars.
