Connecticut schools are rethinking how we respond to conflict and challenging behavior, in the interest of raising the academic achievements of all students. In the 2025–26 school year, all
districts will be tasked with adopting restorative practices (RP) as part of their approach to student discipline and school climate.
Whether you are a classroom teacher, building leader, or school climate coordinator, this immersive two-day retreat will deepen your understanding of RP in Education and prepare you to lead it in your schools.
This will not be a “sit-and-get”. Restorative Practices is not a “spectator sport”. You will engage in hands-on learning, meaningful conversations, and gain practical tools that center
learning, belonging, and connection over punishment and exclusion.
