Craft Workshop: Create a Travel Journal

Handmade books are meaningful works of art with a rich history. Discover bookmaking with this introductory level class where you will learn the know-how of binding books, and create your own hand-bound journal, perfect for recording your summer adventures.

In this project, you will create cover and interiors for an accordion style book journal, complete with a ribbon, leather, or buttoned closure. By the end of the class, you will have completed your own handmade journal to take home!

Materials will be provided; however, we encourage you to bring any scrapbooking paper, drawings, or paintings they wish to use for their book’s cover. Suitable for ages 16 and up. Space is limited! Get tickets to reserve your spot.
