William Alexander is a fresh talent in the world of traditional Australian country music. With a voice that commands attention and a passion for preserving the rich legacy of the music, weaving storytelling with soul into every performance. A true lover of old songs, William channels the timeless sound of classic country, all while keeping it deeply rooted in his Australian identity, having spent a lot of his adult years living and working on farms and stations in NSW. Whether on stage or in the studio, his performances are filled with authenticity and raw emotion, making him a standout talent in the contemporary country music scene.

In 2024, Alexander started gaining attention for his long-awaited album ‘The Singing Stockman’. With the record being nominated for 2 Golden Guitar awards at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. During the festival he was also officially named the winner of the 2025 Thornton Young Award, supported by LWM House and the CMAA.
