Sunset Sound Meditation in the Forest!

Come journey into deep relaxation and restoration at 7 pm on Friday, Aug. 15 at Yellow River State Forest. In this immersive outdoor experience, you'll be gently guided into rest as the rich tones of antique singing bowls, resonant gongs, and the melodic handpan wash over you in the beauty of Yellow River State Forest! Let go of tension as each vibration calms your nervous system, eases stress, and restores energetic balance. A sound bath invites you to return to your natural state of peace.
Bring a blanket or towel to lie down during the meditation, or if you are unable to lie down bring a chair. There is no hiking involved, but the short trail to the lookout is on uneven ground.
The meditation will be led by Laura Gentry, laughter yoga teacher and pastor of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Lansing.
