We need help! Selling firewood is our biggest fundraiser and Friends of Yellow River State Forest, and we need volunteers to make it happen! Many hands make light work!
Everyone is welcome, it doesn't matter if you are a Friends of YRSF active member or not. No experience is necessary.
Kids who are old enough to help are welcome with adults.
Everyone doing any type of volunteer work at YRSF needs to sign a volunteer form annually.
Meet at the wood staging area (drive in, go past sawmills, go to the gate near the base of Firetower Road, listen for the chainsaws, you will find us.)
Anyone operating a chainsaw must wear safety chaps according to DNR guidelines (which will be provided or bring your own).
