Tom Atkinson Quartet

The Tom Atkinson Quartet presents a night of swinging straight-ahead jazz at St Leonard's Church, Flamstead.
Taking inspiration from the rich tenor sounds of Hank Mobley, Dexter Gordon and Benny Golson and the infectious modern grooves of Braxton Cook and Kurt Elling, this heavy-hitting band will take you on a journey from the hard-bop era of the 60s through to present day, giving you a flavour of their broad influences. Expect well-known and loved standards, some lesser known compositions and originals!

Coming together from Flamstead, London and Bristol, this band cannot wait to celebrate and share the music that they love.
