Join us for a day of experiences informed by histories of Hanford’s China Alley, including a stool-making workshop, hosted by Evelyn Hang Yin and Jeffrey Yoo Warren. You can join part of it or the full day of it! No prior experience needed.
This May 31, we'll be hosting a day of events including:
1) a full-day wooden stool-making workshop;
2) a chance to experience a virtual reconstruction of Hanford’s China Alley as it was in the 1800s, which we’ve developed over the past few months;
3) a story circle event to share Asian American family stories and experiences.
There are limited spots available for the woodworking workshop, but everyone is welcome to the other activities at the end of the day, where you’ll also get to see and try out all the stools that were made.
