CCV Racing Beginners Class
New to racing or want to sharpen your crew skills? The CCV Racing Beginners Class is designed for sailors who are looking to get started in the exciting world of keelboat racing. Whether you're completely new to racing or just need a refresher, this course will help you build the knowledge and confidence to step onto any race boat and contribute effectively.

What You’ll Learn:

Basic racing rules and terminology
Crew positions and responsibilities
Starting sequences and mark roundings
Communication and teamwork onboard
Safety procedures and proper gear
This is a hands-on, low-pressure introduction led by experienced racers who are passionate about growing the sport. Great for those looking to join a crew, understand the racing scene, or simply get more involved with the local sailing community.
