Ocean City, N Topsail Beach — where coastal beauty and Black history meet.

Established in 1949, Ocean City was one of the first beach communities in the U.S. where Black families could own oceanfront property. At a time when segregation denied access to many coastal areas, this spot became a refuge—built on resilience, joy, and community.

🖤 Today, Ocean City stands as a living legacy—and every 4th of July weekend, it comes alive with the Ocean City Jazz Festival. From July 4–6, enjoy world-class jazz, local food, and a celebration of culture that honors the past while embracing the future.
