Plastic-free Picnic Hike

Hike the trail and then you’re are welcome to stay for a picnic.

Bring a lunch without using any plastic containers, bottles, cups, wrapping, or utensils (or as little as possible). Carry it in a canvas bag or an old-fashioned wooden picnic basket. Bring a tin cup, stainless steel utensils, and a cloth napkin. Wrap sandwiches in paper or use bags made of compostable plant-based material. Pack munchies in a glass jar, and bring a beverage in stainless steel bottle.
