🕯Tis the season!! It's time to start folding Luminary bags and prepare the Town of Hamilton's annual Christmas Eve Luminary Display.
🌟We'll need help folding ~1,000 bags, filling bags with sand, placing them along Colonial Hwy, and then cleaning up.
🛍 Fold Luminary Bags (Dec 6th-20th At Home): Pick-up packets of 25 bags from the Town Office, fold, and return your folded bags before Dec 20th. If you can't pick-up/drop-off from the town office, please send me a message, and we'll work out plan.
🕯Filling/Placing Luminary Bags (Dec 24, 12:00-2:30pm): Meet-up at the Hamilton Safety Center at 12pm and work in assembly line fashion to fill the bags with sand/candles and load them into pick-up trucks for placement along Colonial Hwy. We'll need a couple of pick-up trucks to help with placing bags along Colonial Hwy.
✨Luminary Lighting (Dec 24, 4:00pm)✨ Luminary Lighting Time! Family teams will work toward each other from the center and ends of town. (If you live along Colonial Hwy you can also help by lighting the ones in front of your house). This is a Bring Your Own Lighter activity (you may need a couple long ones).
!This involves risk! which you are assuming by helping, so, please only older teens and adults should help with placing the luminaries along the road and lighting them.
