🌱 Raglan Area School – Food Forest Planting Day (Round Two!) 🌱
We’re back for the next stage of creating the school’s very own Food Forest, and we’d love your help to bring this beautiful project to life!
Join us as we:
✨ Plant the second half of the designated food forest area
🌿 Add support species that help the whole system thrive
🍂 Lay down compost and mulch to build healthy soil
🌼 Create a vibrant, resilient space for the kids to learn, explore, and eat from for years to come
Expect a fun, hands-on, community vibe — great for adults and kids alike. Whether you want to learn about food forests, get your hands in the soil, or simply be part of something meaningful, your energy is welcome.
What to bring:
☀️ Sun hat
🧤 Gardening gloves
🛠 Tools if you have any (spades, forks, hand tools)
🍽 A plate of food to share
Donations Welcome
If you’d like to support the Food Forest project in other ways, we’re gratefully accepting:
🌿 Plant donations – fruit trees, berries, herbs, support species, perennials
🍪 Baked goodies or food – to share with volunteers on the day
💚 Financial contributions – to help us cover all the costs
Come help us grow a living legacy for our tamariki. 💚
